Our next honoree has been lightening the burden of people living with cancer since 1999. As a volunteer with Lee's Friends, she has worked tirelessly to carry out the mission. She does it all. She is a volunteer driver, special events volunteer, financial supporter and she manages the front office desk and transportation schedule for those who are battling cancer to get to and from appointments and treatments. From answering phones to managing resource materials, she is always furthering the mission and thinking of others. She has personally provided at least 540 rides to cancer patients. She is also a one-on-one volunteer, having completed the accredited four-day training course. She has now offered emotional support to five cancer patients and their families. With more than 1500 hours of volunteer support with Lee's Friends and a lead by example attitude, we are pleased to honor Moira Wright as one of WAVY-TV's 10 Who Care.
