Twinkle VanWinkle, Digital Lifestyle & Entertainment Producer for LIN Media, shares thoughtful writings and unique interactives, dishing out advice about good food, cooking tips, DIY projects, fashion and more. She’ll also teach you a thing or two about music.

Born in a small town in Mississippi, she grew up surrounded by wonderful Southern cooks, musicians and creative souls. She forged a path for digital journalism and social media at the University of Mississippi , receiving her Masters in New Media and Journalism.

“My ultimate goal is to help my audience see they can make their lives shine, too. Easy, cost-effective projects, recipes and ideas, sprinkled with good vibes and a great soundtrack is what I strive to produce.”

Twinkle has more than 20 years of professional cooking under her apron strings, and shares her unique perspective and technical savvy with her readers. She has worked with James Beard award-winning chefs and appeared on the Food Network and “ The Oprah Winfrey Show .”

She is also an avid music lover and record collector as well as an active musician and music writer.

Twinkle lives in Indianapolis with her partner Tyler, their children and Leon the cat, gardening, cooking and making her life shine.
