Jon Cash

Jon Cash - Jon Cash is WAVY-TV's morning meteorologist. He co-anchors the Number 1 rated morning newscast in Hampton Roads, WAVY News 10 Sunrise from 5:00-6:00am, and WAVY News 10 Today from 6:00-7:00am. Jon also provides weather information on WAVY News 10 Midday at noon.

Jon joined WAVY-TV in 1989. Prior to that, he was the weather forecaster for WSLS-TV in Roanoke, Virginia.

Jon has attained the American Meteorological Seal of Approval for Television Weathercasting. This is the highest honor available for Meteorologist.

Jon is a native of Roanoke, but received his Meteorology degree from the University of New York in Albany. Currently, Jon and his family live in Chesapeake.

Jon is also an accomplished author. In 1999, Jon finished his book, The Age of the Antichrist, which has garnered national recognition and praise.
