Eric Harryman

Eric Harryman joined the WAVY/WVBT team in January of 2008 as the co-anchor of FOX 43 News at 10pm. Eric is no stranger to the Virginia coast. He met his wife Lisa in Williamsburg, VA more than a decade ago and they are thrilled to be returning to the Norfolk area with the newest addition to their family, their daughter Gracie.

Eric has covered the news from coast to coast, with a few stops in between. A career that began as a go-and-fetch-it in two different L.A. network newsrooms, quickly turned into reporting and anchoring duties in Colorado, Idaho, and Virginia. Working in the 10 On Your Side newsroom now is a great fit for Eric, who believes: "Everyone's got a great story. Let them tell it and fill in the gaps."

One of the defining moments of Eric's journalistic career was when he worked for International Sports Broadcasting at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

Prior to his career in the news business, he also had the honor of being a project manager for Peanut's cartoon creator Charles M. Schulz.
