Tiffany Savona came to Hampton Roads and joined WAVY-TV 10/FOX 43 and the Super Doppler 10 Weather Team in September of 2012. Tiffany can be seen during the weekend evening newscasts while filling in during the week.
Tiffany grew up in Newark, Delaware. Since an early age, she has always been fascinated with the weather. She decided to pursue her passion, graduating with a B.S. in Meteorology with an option in Weather Forecasting and Communications from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2008. While in college, Tiffany interned at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and at CN8-The Comcast Network in New Castle, Delaware. Prior to coming to WAVY- TV 10/FOX 43, Tiffany worked as the morning and midday meteorologist for KXXV-TV in Waco, Texas. Tiffany gained plenty of severe weather experience while working in the Lone Star State. She covered everything from tornadoes to tropical storms to record heat and drought conditions.
She is happy to be back on the East Coast and excited to forecast the weather here in Hampton Roads. Tiffany is no stranger to the area, as Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks were always popular vacation destinations for her family.
Tiffany has been designated a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.
When Tiffany is not tracking storms, she is often found spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching sports. She especially enjoys cheering on the Nittany Lions!
